Leeds United are lining up a loan move for Liverpool wonderkid Harry Wilson this summer. According to recent reports, the Peacocks are keen on sealing a loan move for the Welsh starlet during this summer transfer period. It is understood that Leeds manager Paul Heckingbottom is currently looking to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season and Wilson fits the bill perfectly.
The Reds attacker went out on loan to Hull City in the second half of the last campaign and enjoyed a rich run of form which helped the Tigers avoid relegation to the third tier of English football. Some sources are now claiming that his eye-catching performances at the KCOM Stadium have not gone unnoticed with the Peacocks set to clash heads with Rangers in pursuit of the Welsh youngster’s signature this summer.
The 21-year-old playmaker has found the back of the net 7 times while providing 4 assists in 13 appearances in the Skybet Championship last season. Wilson has incredible potential to be a future star in English football and the Merseyside outfit might decide to loan him out again this summer so that he can continue with his development. Recent reports have also revealed that a loan fee in the region of £250,000 will be enough to take him away from Anfield. However, Jurgen Klopp’s team will also ask for additional payments if he does not play the required number of games.
The West Yorkshire had another underwhelming campaign last season and will need to make some clever additions during the summer transfer window if they are to push for a promotion place next season. The potential acquisition of Wilson will undoubtedly bolster Heckingbottom’s attacking options at Elland Road. He is exactly the kind of player who can light up the Championship with his dazzling displays which is why Leeds should go all out to recruit him, even on a temporary basis.
The Peacocks have attacking talents such as Pablo Hernandez, Samuel Sáiz, Ezgjan Alioski, Hadi Sacko and Stuart Dallas vying for a starting berth in Heckingbottom’s first-team. The addition of Wilson will improve their side significantly and add more competition for places within the Leeds squad.

At the mere of 21, Wilson is highly versatile and can operate on either flank or in the number 10 position which makes him a perfect fit for the West Yorkshire team. It remains to be seen what lies ahead in the future of Wilson and whether he ends up moving to Elland Road on a loan deal this summer.
