Manchester United will travel to the Amex Stadium to take on Brighton & Hove Albion on Friday night looking to secure the three points, which will solidify their position in the league table. The Reds of Manchester have been flying high in the league but they will come across a Chris Hughton team who are well drilled and have a strong home record.
Even though there might not be much at stake, both teams will be looking to get a victory which will give them the momentum to do well going into the final few games of this campaign. United boss Jose Mourinho is expected to opt for a 4-3-3 formation and might name an unchanged side for this clash.
4-3-3 Manchester United Predicted Lineup To Face Arsenal
Defence
David De Gea is expected to start in goal for the home side while Joel Castro Pereira will take his place on the bench. The Spanish shot-stopper might be protected by a backline of Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof in central defence while Ashley Young operates in the left-back position and Antonio Valencia is deployed on the right-hand side of the back four.
Matteo Darmian might be named on the bench and could be called upon during the encounter if required. Jose Mourinho will be hoping that his defenders can be solid at the backline versus the Seagulls on Friday night so that they have a good chance of securing the three points at the Amex Stadium which will help them consolidate their second position in the league standings.
Midfield
The trio of Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera could be unleashed at the centre of the park and the performance of these players will be extremely important if the Manchester outfit are to break down the Brighton defence. The trio has been in sensational form for United in recent weeks so it is expected that they will put in another strong showing in this contest.
Marouane Fellaini could be available for a place on the bench for this encounter against Chris Hughton’s team.
Attack
The front three would consist of Romelu Lukaku spearheading Mourinho’s attack while Alexis Sanchez looks to use his pace and footwork down the left-hand side of the United frontline. Jesse Lingard will operate on the right flank and will look to get his name on the scoresheet which could go a long way in cementing his place in England’s 2018 FIFA World Cup squad.
Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford could be available on the bench and might be called upon during the match if needed.
