Rangers have recently parted ways with their former interim manager Graeme Murty and are on the lookout for his replacement in the summer. There has been speculation linking the Gers with a move for Liverpool Under-18 coach Steven Gerrard but a deal is yet to be finalised.
The Glaswegian club is currently in the third spot in the league table with a total tally of 68 points after 35 gameweeks so far. They find themselves a massive 13 points behind their nearest rivals and the Scottish champions Celtic going into the final few games of the season. It is clearly evident that the Gers are in need of a few proven goal-scorers up top so that they can have the necessary firepower to put up a more competitive challenge to the Hoops next season.
With the managerial position at the Ibrox Stadium yet to be decided, let’s take a look at three strikers that the Teddy Bears could look to consider in this summer transfer period.
Jordan Siebatcheu
If the Teddy Bears are looking for a more long-term approach, they could choose to table a bid for this talented starlet. The Stade Reims striker has lit up the Ligue 2 with some impressive displays during the course of this season. The 21-year-old Washington-born forward has made 34 appearances for the French side this term, scoring 16 goals while providing 7 assists in all competitions. The French youngster has a lot of potential which the Gers could look to utilise in the coming years.
Thierry Ambrose
The Dutch Eredivisie striker has been in a rich vein of form for NAC Breda in this campaign and is exactly the kind of forward who could bang in the goals for Rangers next term. The Sens-born forward has made 31 appearances for the Dutch side this season, scoring 10 goals while providing 6 assists across all competitions. At 21, Ambrose has a lot of potential to grow and take his game to the next level if given the opportunity to showcase his skills at the Ibrox Stadium.

Marcus Thuram
The 20-year-old French striker has made 31 appearances for EA Guingamp this season, finding the back of the net 4 times while providing 3 assists across all competitions. The Parma-born forward is highly versatile and can be unleashed on either flank or as a striker up top which makes him a perfect fit for Rangers.
