Mario Balotelli is set to be out of contract with Nice at the end of next month and could be in demand in England owing to his good performances in Ligue 1. He managed 26 goals in all competitions this season and that is certainly a good haul for any striker.
However, according to latest reports, Nice’s president talked about the future of his Italian striker and claimed that he might not be available for free as they have made Balotelli sign a special contract. In that case, if he decides to leave the French outfit, Nice will be assured that they will get some transfer money in return for the player.
The Italian striker has been volatile and is often known for his off the field antics. However, he has gone on to prove his doubters wrong and has flourished in the Ligue 1. It will be interesting to see whether any manager in the Premier League will bring a character like him to their club. However, with a solid man manager, Balotelli can flourish and he has all the capabilities to lead the line for his team. In a situation where Mario decides to leave the French club, we look at three possible Premier league destinations for him.
The Hammers have missed an out and out striker throughout their campaign as Andy Carroll has been injured for the most part of the season. Marko Arnautovic had to fill the role of the striker in the latter half of the season and the Austrian did manage to flourish in his new role.
However, with a new manager coming in, we might see him play in his traditional position which is on the left wing and Balotelli can certainly add firepower upfront and be a good option in place of the injury-prone Andy Carroll.
The Eagles fans have been left miffed by the misfiring Christian Benteke who managed just three goals in his entire campaign. If not for Wilfried Zaha, Palace could have easily been relegated and they will be in need of a striker as the Big Belgian has been more miss than a hit this season.

The newly-promoted side are in the market looking for a striker who can provide 15-20 goals a season and Balotelli can be worth a punt for the West Midlands club. The striker’s position is up for grab at the Molineux as Benik Afobe will return to his parent club in the summer and Nuno Santo will need an out and striker for his team to replace Afobe.
