West Brom who are destined to go down this season are going through some tough times. They have managed just three wins in the Premier League this season. After they dismissed Tony Pulis in November, they thought their fortunes might turn but their new manager Alan Pardew could manage just one win in his stint at the club before he was shown the door.
The club has spiralled down in recent few months with David Moore, taking over the managerial duties till the end of the season. West Brom under Tony Pulis were defensively tough to break down but this season they haven’t been able to keep the clean sheets.
One man who has been at the Club for quite a few years now has come out and said that he will stick to West Brom even if they go down in the championship. Ben Foster, the Baggies goalkeeper who has been at the club since 2012 said-‘’ I’ll be here, I’ve got no interest in trying to move clubs. I’m very settled and I’m sure there are quite a few others who would love to stay and help us get back to the Premier League’’
He further added-‘’ If we end up in the Championship next season we’ve got to bounce back up. I’d like to keep a core of the players that want to dig in, work hard and be in a tough fight to get out of the Championship because it is a tough fight’’
Foster also claimed that he is happy with the new caretaker manger’s work. He said-‘’ Mooro took the bull by the horns last week and really raised the spirits around the place and the players and fans really bought into that,”

It is great to see that Foster came out and said that he is willing to stay at the club even if they relegate to Championship status. One often sees players leaving the club when they are relegated and rightly so as the player should harbour his ambition to play in the top league as he will be more noticeable there. If West Brom manage to hold on to their core players they can straight away bounce back in the Premier League as their squad has some decent players and they are worthy of playing in the English top flight.
