Manchester City, as they inch closer to lifting the Premier League trophy this season, came out as winners against West Ham United tonight. The Citizens scored at will tonight to win 4-1 and notched up 100 goals for the season.
Here is how the Manchester City players have been rated.
Ederson 6.5
Made an error in arranging his defensive wall which led to the goal for West Ham. However, he was good otherwise and as usual excellent with his sweeping abilities.
Kyle Walker 7.5
Looks tired with the season coming to an end. However, his pace was excellent when he was on his game and flashed in some dangerous balls from the right on his overlapping runs.
Nicolas Otamendi 7.5
A rock-solid performance. He was hard on his defence and gave little breathing space to the West Ham attackers.
Aymeric Laporte 7
Defensively even he was unfazed and looked easy on the ball. Yet to come to his best though with his distribution.
Fabian Delph 7.5
Another splendid performance down the left. He has made this position his over the season. Excellent adaptability.
Kevin De Bruyne 7
A boring and tiring day for him. However, his half pace was enough to take care of West Ham players. Full of pace and clarity with his first time passing. A slick customer.
Fernandinho 8
A goal for the most hard-working man of the season. Relentlessly runs around the pitch swooping up after his attackers and does the job with great precision.
Ilkay Gundogan 7.5
Another excellent ball playing midfielder. He is technically beautiful and kept City ticking alongside De Bruyne.
Raheem Sterling 9
Untouchable. He was all over the West Ham defence. Mistakingly refused a penalty but did manage to rack up three assists. West Ham could not touch him.
Gabriel Jesus 7.5
A slow first half from him, Woke up in the second half. He worked harder and scored a smart goal to help his team triple the lead.
Leroy Sane 7
A tough night for him. A good goal but did not have all his way as Zabaleta was all over him. Losing his creative edge and needs to be rested.
Substitution
Danilo 6
A smart move from Guardiola to replace the tiring Walker. Danilo did his bit by helping the attack as there was little to defend.
Yaya Toure 6.5
A smart move. Was absolutely terrific for the 20 minutes on the pitch. Still showed his touch of class. What a player.
