Mohamed Salah who has lit up the Premier League this season for Liverpool is going nowhere after the end of the season as the Reds boss, Jurgen Klopp revealed. Salah has already scored 39 times in all competitions for Liverpool and is also in line to win the Golden Boot in the Premier League.
After performances like these, he was bound to be linked with some big clubs most particularly Real Madrid. But according to Klopp, Salah realises that Anfield is the best place for him. Salah has also been impressed by the support he has got from the Anfield faithful and he feels that he hasn’t seen anything quite like it before.
The trio of Mane, Salah and Firmino have tormented the Premier League and most recently Manchester City, who bowed out in the Champions League quarterfinal in an all English encounter. Salah was instrumental in both the legs as he scored and assisted one in the first leg before he was subbed off due to a groin niggle. In the second leg, he scored the crucial away goal which put the tie to bed and dashed all hopes of Manchester City’s comeback.
Speaking from Germany, Klopp said, ‘’ I know that Mo feels very comfortable here, and he knows that our style of play suits him very well, so I am not worried about a transfer
In an interview with CNN Salah earlier said-,‘’ There’s something very special about playing for Liverpool. The Champions League nights are special for the fans too. You can feel it on the streets. The atmosphere in that first game against Manchester City was the first time I had really seen something like that.’’

Such comments will be music to Liverpool fans ears as they would have been dreading to see Salah leave after just one season. He is slotted in as a winger but doesn’t traditionally hug the bylines and provide crosses for his other teammates The system which Klopp employs suits the likes of Salah as he is allowed to come inside and play in the centre of the pitch to influence the play for his team more. Such tactics have paid dividends as Liverpool have scored goals galore this season. With Liverpool on an upward trajectory, and the fact that they have a chance of pulling off an unlikely Champions League triumph it will be foolish of Salah to leave Liverpool after just one season as he is currently playing the best football of his life at Liverpool.
