Leicester City players are not enjoying their manager Claude Puel’s methods of late. According to recent reports, the Foxes players are concerned about the French boss’ desire to constantly ‘chop and change his squad during the course of this season. They are also not happy with Puel’s reluctance to explain his actions which has thrown the French manager’s future at the club in doubt.
Some sources are claiming that Puel’s managerial position is not under any threat for the time being but the West Midlands club’s owners are concerned about their recent poor run of just 4 victories in their last 15 matches. The Foxes have had a solid season so far and are in no threat of being dragged into the relegation dogfight. They have also put in some eye-catching performances under the stewardship of Claude Puel during the course of this campaign.
However, the manager’s desire to keep rotating his squad has seen them fall off the pace in the race to finish in the top 7 positions of the Premier League. Only time will tell whether Puel can lead this Foxes team to overtake Burnley going into the final few games of the campaign.
Leicester City are currently sitting in the 8th position of the Premier League standings with a tally of 43 points after Gameweek 33. They are still six points behind the Clarets with just 6 matches remaining in this season.
Puel has done a commendable job for the Foxes this season which has seen his team sit in pole position to earn a top half finish in the league table. The Frenchman has taken charge of 29 matches for the West Midlands club this season, winning 12, drawing 8 and losing 9 of those matches since taking over the club in October last year. He also has a healthy PPG (Points Per Game) average of 1.52 (According to Transfermarkt).

The Foxes boss has a wealth of experience in the Premier League from his time at Southampton and now, at Leicester City so it would be foolish of the club to sack him when things are going well for them. The Leicester owners could rather communicate with their manager to try and sort things out at the King Power Stadium. It remains to be seen what lies ahead in the future of Puel and whether he ends up parting ways with the club in the near future.
