Leicester City travelled to London to take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park looking to earn a positive result out on the road. Claude Puel opted for a 4-4-2 formation and made a few changes for this clash. The Foxes conceded an early goal when Wilfried Zaha scored with a ferocious strike. Palace doubled their lead in the 38th minute courtesy of a James McArthur goal.
The away side suffered a big blow in the second half when Marc Albrighton was sent off due to his challenge on Zaha in the 58th minute. The Eagles pushed on and scored thrice in the last 10 minutes of the game with goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Patrick van Aanholt and Christian Benteke which capped off an emphatic 5-o victory over their West Midlands counterparts.
Let’s take a look at how each Leicester City player performed during the match.

He was sent off for a careless mistake which cost his side any chance of a second-half comeback.

Not the best day in the office for the veteran Leicester centre-back, Morgan managed to make some good clearances which kept his team in the game up until the last 10 minutes of the contest.

A day to forget for the young Leicester defender. He brought Benteke down in injury time which capped off a disappointing away outing for the Foxes.
