A torrid season is set to go from bad to worse for West Brom. The club are not just in relegation but stuck down at the rock bottom. They are far from the league table safety and will definitely be the first team this season to go down. They will be down in the Championship next season but until that happens they need to fight.
They have been terrible all season and have hardly brought in wins. They now come up against the mighty Manchester United. The team from the Hawthorns are not just playing any other team but the top team from the league.
West Brom have a cloud of uncertainty surrounding the club. They are suffering from a bad season and they are not looking like survivors. They have lost major form and almost every other match this season. They were under the tutelage of Alan Pardew. They were extremely poor and Pardew kept them down at the bottom. They managed to just negotiate three wins under him, leaving the club reeling and it ended up with Pardew getting sacked.
With him now gone, the fans might be hoping for a change in luck. However they are not remembering the fact that West Brom only have a handful of games left to change their luck. They are not going to find it easy to win multiple games on the trot and that might leave them reeling.
This is how they will try to shape up for the big match and hope to win the match or atleast get a few points.
Formation: 4-3-3
Defence
Ben Foster is expected to play in goal for the Baggies. The West Brom back-line is likely to be without captain Jonny Evans and the centre back pairing could be Ahmed Hegazi and Craig Dawson with Gareth McAuley missing out owing to his bad performance.
The right back position is likely to go to Allan-Romeo Nyom with the left back position occupied by former Arsenal man Kieran Gibbs.
Midfield
West Brom will be boosted by the return of Grzegorz Krychowiak and the Baggies might opt for a three man midfield with Gareth Barry and Claudio Yacob on either side of Krychowiak.
Attack
The three men that the Baggies will want to use up front will be former Chelsea man Daniel Sturridge and Jay Rodriguez on the wings with rumoured Chelsea target Salomon Rondon upfront.
