Arsenal come up against CSKA Moscow in a quarter-final clash in the Europa League. The Gunners know that this is there only way to get into the Champions League next season and will want to get over the line as easily as possible. This is how they will want to line up.
Predicted Line-Up: 4-2-3-1
Defence:
Petr Cech who is the first choice goalkeeper will be replaced by David Ospina. This is because Wenger will look to stick to his promise of playing the Colombian for cup matches, as he has done on many previous occasions. The Frenchman will undoubtedly be taking a risk by going with Ospina but he will be hoping Ospina can make good of his chance and help the team get a win.
In defence, Hector Bellerin is back in right back. The pacey wing back who has the potential to play as a winger as well will look to go marauding up and down the right flank causing Moscow problems. In centre-back, there will be the German rock Shkodran Mustafi who will be the man to marshall the defence alongside French player Laurent Koscielny. The Frenchman will be expected to lead the line and will want to improve on his series of latest performances where he has declined significantly.
The left-back position will be occupied by the impressive Nacho Monreal. The Spaniard has improved leaps and bounds and has been in great scoring form this season. He will be looking to help his team by grabbing a goal if possible.
Midfield:
The two-man axis for Arsenal has plenty of choices. With the whole team fit, Wenger will have to choose from Wilshere, Ramsey and Xhaka. It is likely he will go for Granit Xhaka as one of the choices. The Swiss ace has the touch for the extraordinary albeit he makes silly mistakes. He is a hard-tackling midfielder and Wenger will need him to do the dirty work in the middle of the park. He will be partnered by Aaron Ramsey who will be looking to add a goal to the scoreline and with his scoring touch, it will not be surprising to see him get on the scoresheet.
Jack Wilshere is likely to play as the number 10 in behind the striker and will have to orchestrate the midfield.
Henrikh Mkhitaryan will be deployed on the right wing and will be partnered by Mesut Ozil on the right flank. They will be the two key creative forces.
Attack:
Alexandre Lacazette will be tasked with the job of leading the line for the Gunners on a night they will be gunning for a win.
