The current world of football requires teams to produce tactics that have to keep evolving to continue winning. While it is possible to produce players that can play excellent football, it is not that easy to produce such players with regularity. This then brings in the concept of buying talent on the market.
With market rates inflating, players are being bought at an alarmingly high rate and clubs have to carefully assess each and every player before making a move or risk losing millions in the market. This would mean even more for clubs who cannot afford to keep spending high amounts.
Hence, it is only right that Tottenham Hotspur do some great market research before investing. However, their Argentine boss, Mauricio Pochettino, has made a super team out of players who were not superstars before. He, as per recent reports, though, is keen to correct his team further by adding more players and making expensive buys. Pochettino, reportedly, has made a demand to get a high transfer fund to bring in players to get Spurs to the next level.
If Daniel Levy were to make funds available to Pochettino, here are three players he can look at.
Arturo Vidal
The Bayern Munich midfielder is an all round player. He can play as a holding midfielder, attacking midfielder and a box-to-box player. He has power, strength, guile and the smartness to play as a perfect number 8. He has the engine to run for 90 minutes and has the play required to succeed in the modern game. However, the player has been frozen out of the first team in the recent months and he can seek a move elsewhere with Spurs being contenders.
John Stones
The English centre-back is a technically gifted player but the former Everton man has been frozen out of the first team at Manchester City. He is only 23, has good skills and is an excellent ball playing defender. He has now been left out owing to the tough competition at the back at City and Spurs could swoop in for him with the promise of more first-team action. He is likely to be a typical Pochettino player as well given his energy and age.
Salomon Rondon

Harry Kane is in the form of his life but Spurs need another backup striker with Fernando Llorente failing to provide perfect cover. This would make Rondon the perfect man to play from the bench and an excellent backup option for Spurs.
