With the international break finally over, we can welcome back the Premier League and along with it FPL. Game week 32 kicks off on Saturday the 31st of March at 12:30 PM UK time. So, make sure all your transfers are done by 11:30 UK time on the 31st.
The 31st is an action-packed day for FPL with eight games taking place. Crystal Palace vs Liverpool kicks us off in the early kickoff. There are then six 3 pm kickoffs on Saturday. These are Brighton and Hove Albion vs Leicester City, Manchester United vs Swansea City, Newcastle United vs Huddersfield Town, Watford vs Bournemouth, West Brom vs Burnley and West Ham United vs Southampton. Everton vs Manchester City is the late kickoff on Saturday.
There are then two games on Sunday to the round of game week 32. Arsenal vs Stoke City is the early kickoff and Chelsea vs Tottenham Hotspur end GW 32.
Here are three players you should sign this week.
Roberto Firmino (9.7)
Despite the fact Firmino will cost you just 9.7, he is currently the third best striker on FPL this season. The Brazilian has been one of Liverpool’s unsung heroes in attack this season scoring 14 goals and also earning eight assists. This excellent combination of goals and assists gives him a total of 163 FPL points so far this season. Only six less than Sergio Aguero who will cost you a full 2.0 more.
Furthermore, given that Harry Kane remains injured for this game week, many people will be looking for a new striker. And given his excellent goal and assist record and his relatively cheap price tag, Firmino would be a very good choice to replace Kane.
Liverpool also take on a struggling Crystal Palace side this week. They have won just one of their last five, losing the other four. They have also conceded 48 goals in 31 games. A poor defensive record which Liverpool’s attack will no doubt take advantage of.
Raheem Sterling (8.6)
With City still needing to give it 100% in order to secure the league title, having Manchester City players in your side is still a very good thing. Especially ones as cheap as Raheem Sterling.
For just 8.6 Sterling has gained a superb 179 FPL points this season. The same as Spurs striker Harry Kane. Sterling has also scored 15 goals and bagged 11 assists in the league this season. It’s safe to say he is having the season of his life and is very likely to continue his great form for the rest of the season.
City play Everton this week. While Everton’s form has improved recently, their defensive record is still not good. They have let in 50 goals already this season. So, when the leagues’ top scorers face them, it’s likely Everton’s shaky defence will come undone.
Nike Pope (4.9)
While Pope did not get a chance to shine on international duty, he will certainly be keeping his spot at Burnley. And for good reason. So far this season Pope has managed to keep 10 clean sheets in the league with Burnley. He has also let in just 20 goals all season.
This superb record has earned Pope 131 FPL points this season. Making him the third best keeper on FPL. The only two above him being the Manchester clubs keepers. Moreover, Pope, at just 4.9, is a real bargain and will cost you considerably less than De Gea and Ederson.
Also, Burnley play West Brom this week. The Baggies are dead bottom of the Premier League and will almost certainly be relegated. They also have the worst attack in the league scoring just 24 times this season. Therefore, when the worst attack meets one of the best defences, it is extremely likely Burnley will keep a clean sheet this game week.
