West Ham United forward Diafra Sakho has been linked with a move to Bordeaux. The French club wants to complete a deal before next week and these are the possible replacements for Diafra Sakho should the Hammers decide to part ways with the Senegalese striker.
Andre Silva
Silva who impressed with Portugal during the 2017 Confederations Cup was scooped up by AC Milan and was supposed to be one of the poster boys for the club going into the new season. The club’s tactic to bring in a whole new team failed with almost every major signing falling short on the performance chart. The team at Milan is now suffering from mediocrity and are far off from a Champions League spot let alone win the Serie A.
Andre Silva’s time at the club has gone equally bad with the striker failing to perform up front. He has been replaced in the first team position and is looking actively for a transfer away from the Italian club. It is believed that Silva still harbours hopes of playing for Portugal this summer in Russia for the 2018 FIFA World Cup and believes that in order to retain his place in the national team he must find himself a new club thus bringing in West Ham United to the picture.
Richmond Boakye
Red Star Belgrade has their goal scoring man in Boakye who has been in blistering form this season for Red Star Belgrade scoring 23 goals in 28 matches. He has the strong build of centre-forward and can operate on either wing as needed by the team. The 24-year old has now found his goalscoring boots again at Red Star Belgrade after a mini-dry spell and has scored 38 goals in 47 games in his time at the club.
Stevan Jovetic
A career that began with great promise has gotten lost somewhere. Jovetic continued to flourish in his early days at Fiorentina but his move to Manchester City saw the striker’s demotion to the bench for the first time in his career. It affected the player’s morale and confidence. His City career never really took off and he ended his time there with 11 goals and 6 assists in 44 games. He secured a transfer to French champions Monaco this summer. However, his time at Monaco has not gone smoothly either with Jovetic frustrated at being reduced to a bench role in the club, despite them losing Kylian Mbappe this season. He has just played a handful of games for them this season and a low-key move might help him rejuvenate his form.
