The West Ham United goalkeeper, who is on loan from Manchester City, has faced a frustrating time in England ever since the arrival of Pep Guardiola. Constantly shifting clubs has affected his form and with the 2018 Russia FIFA World Cup coming up, Hart would not want to damage his limited prospects of playing for England by making a move again.
Pep’s arrival to Manchester City saw him being forced out of the club due to lack of game time. This season he was supposed to be the number one at West Ham United but the English custodian has lost his spot to Adrian. Moyes has preferred to use the Spaniard in goal leaving Hart seeking new pastures.
With only 6 months to go before the FIFA World Cup, here are three clubs where he can play as a regular.
Sunderland
The Black Cats have conceded a mammoth 47 goals in just 28 games, averaging almost 1.8 goals conceded per game. Of the two senior keepers, neither Jason Steele nor Robbin Ruiter have been strong enough at the back and that has been the root cause of the defensive misery this season for Sunderland.
The gulf in class looks even bigger at the back especially because last time out, they had a Jordan Pickford who was by far the best player in the team and came up with some heroic saves to help his team not be humiliated in every match. Hart could easily be the number one here and help Sunderland escape relegation.
Leeds United
Leeds United got off to a flying start to their new season. Fast flowing football that was easy on the eye and a defence that since the opening game at Bolton, had conceded three goals in eight games meant that Leeds could not have hoped for a better start. The Leeds machine, however, began to show signs of crack as the league progressed and they now stand tenth in the table after eleven defeats in 28 games.
With Leeds still pushing for a playoff spot, Harts could prove to be a valuable addition at Elland Road.
Stoke City
They are a powerful side with tall burly players all across the pitch who love to play the physical game. With the addition of stout and pacey attackers, they perfected their balance on the pitch. However, things have fallen apart this season.
They have been extremely vulnerable in defence this season with the Potters conceding 50 goals in 24 games. Butland is their number one choice but with the Englishman off his game, Hart’s move would not only give him a chance at redemption but also give him a chance to directly replace Butland in both club and national level.
