Zinedine Zidane’s side brushed aside a sorry looking Sevilla side with their crisp movements and passing. The men in white looked lethal from the word go as they pierced the Sevilla defence numerous number of times. Real Madrid were lethal on the counter as they got back to winning ways to maintain pressure on the league leaders Barcelona. A brace from Ronaldo helped Los Blancos thump Sevilla by 5-0. Here are the player ratings for Real Madrid
Keylor Navas (6):
Was a spectator the entire game as he saw his team dominate proceedings from start to finish.
Achraf Hakimi (7):
Had a brilliant game at right back and got on the score-sheet following a brilliant counter-attack. Made a crunching challenge to stop Muriel from levelling things up with the game at 1-0
Jesus Vallejo (6):
Had a nervy beginning to the game but soon settled them as his side grew in confidence following the goals.
Nacho (7):
A huge asset to Zidane as he can play a number of roles. Deployed at the heart of the defence in the absence of Marcelo and Varane, was regimented well at the back and scored the early goal to put Real 1-0 up.
Marcelo (7):
Much of his work was required in the attacking areas as he was a constant threat on the left wing. A solid performance by the Brazilian ace.
Lucas Vasquez (8):
Grabbed his opportunity with both hands as he put forth a brilliant display. A fantastic cut back allowed Kroos to slot in Real fourth.
Luka Modric (7):
A solid game in the middle of the park as he controlled the game with his sublime passing.
Toni Kroos (8):
Although took up the holding midfield position, the German hardly had any work defensively. Once again instrumental in his passing. A good finish to grab Real’s fourth.
Marco Asensio (8):
Filling in for Isco, he used his pace and dribbling to great effect. Was an ever-present threat on the counter.
Karim Benzema (8):
The Frenchman has put all the criticism in the early parts of the season and is slowly starting to produce some good performances. Looked sharp on the counter as he supplied Hakimi’s goal. Was a willing runner when chasing lost causes that was well appreciated by the Real Madrid faithful.
Cristiano Ronaldo (9):
Absolutely world class from the Ballon d’Or winner. Looked as sharp as ever in the league as he is transferring his Champions League form slowly into the La Liga. His brace wasn’t the only highlight of his game. The link-up play and crispness on the counter tore Sevilla’s defence.

Was introduced in the 63rd minute for Toni Kroos. Had a comfortable evening as the job was already done for Zidane.
