Eden Hazard has the potential to take on the best in the world and come out a winner nine times out of ten. The Belgian has could not have been named for aptly as the name of Hazard on the team sheet leaves defenders in nightmares.
His move to Chelsea back in 2012 was a topic of much debate and hype as he flirted with every major club in Europe before finally joining the then European Champions for a fee reported to be around £32 million.
In his five year spell at the club, Chelsea has seen the worst and the best of Hazard and interestingly the form of the club has reflected the form of the player, such is the importance of the winger in the team.
On the day when Hazard plays, he is on par with the best in the world and cannot be touched let alone caught on the field. He dances and dazzles his way through and weaves a wave of magic on the pitch on his way to goal leaving fans and players mesmerized. However, such days are short in number and inconsistency is perhaps the only complaint any manager can have with the player.
He is now being engaged with a report complying him with a move to Manchester United. United will be ready to offer a sum of £90 million to rival Hazard’s other primary chaser, Real Madrid. United boss Jose Mourinho was keen on a new winger all throughout summer but failed to land a major target. He will be more than happy to be reunited with Hazard, who blossomed under him and had his best season in Chelsea colours under the Portuguese tactician.
Given Manchester City’s current dominance in the league, Mourinho will be looking for replacements and additions to his Red Devil’s squad. Pep’s team are looking more and more invincible by the day and has left every team far behind in the race to the top.
Hazard will compete in the team consisting of the likes of Romelu Lukaku, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Paul Pogba and it would be dream come true for United fans to see a team of such pace, guile and power rain in goals at Old Trafford. All this, of course, will only happen given a move is made and Hazard manages to bring forward his best game for the Red Devils.
However, the major block to the move will be a certain Antonio Conte, who under no circumstances will want to lose his star player to a direct rival.
