Fantasy Premier League kicks off on Saturday at 12:30 UK time with West Ham hosting Chelsea. So, make sure all your transfers are done by 11:30 UK time on the 9th of December.
This Saturday’s three o’clock kick-offs see Burnley face Watford, Crystal Palace vs Bournemouth, Huddersfield vs Brighton, Spurs face Stoke and West Brom travel to Swansea. The late kick-off on Saturday is Newcastle United vs Leicester City.
There are three games this Sunday in FPL. Southampton and Arsenal are the early kickoffs, followed by Liverpool vs Everton and then Manchester United vs Manchester City in the long-awaited Manchester Derby.
Here are three players you should sign this week for your Fantasy Premier League side.
Eden Hazard (10.8)
Eden Hazard does not even make the top 10 midfielders on the FPL leaderboard this season. However, this is in part to him missing the start of the season through injury.
But despite him not having the most points so far this season, you should definitely sign him this week. Hazard is currently 10.8 which is somewhat expensive for a midfielder. However, given the form he is in you will want to sign him.
In his last four league games for Chelsea Hazard has scored four goals and earned two assists. A very impressive record for someone playing out on the wing. He has also just put two past Newcastle in Chelsea’s last game as he is finally looking to have found his form from last season.
Plus, Chelsea are playing West Ham this weekend. While they gave a valiant effort against Manchester City, they still let in two goals. So, it is likely Chelsea will be able to break them down this weekend.
Pascal Groß (6.0)
Groß is probably your best option if you are looking for a cheap midfielder who is going to get you a fair few points. He will cost you just 6.0. But despite the low price tag, the midfielder will earn you a decent amount of points.
Groß currently has 78 FPL points. This puts him 6th on the FPL midfielder leaderboard. With all of the players above him costing considerably more, Groß seems like a real smart investment as the money you save putting him on your side could be spent elsewhere.
He has also managed three goals and five assists in the league this season for Brighton which is a solid record when you consider Brighton are a newly promoted side.
Brighton are also taking on fellow promotion winners Huddersfield this weekend. Huddersfield are on a poor run of form lately. After a decent start, they have slowly slipped down the table to 15th place. Also, they have lost their last four league games which would suggest that Brighton are likely to come out on top at the weekend. And given how involved Groß has been in Brighton’s goals this season, he is likely to bag a goal and or assists vs a struggling Huddersfield side.
Sead Kolasinac (6.2)
Since arriving at Arsenal on a free transfer over the summer, Kolasinac has certainly impressed. Already this season the left-back has managed to score one goal and earn four assists which shows he is certainly has a solid attacking threat. Which means he is more likely to get you more goals and assists than any other defender.
Plus, he has also helped Arsenal keep seven keep sheets in the league this season. This combined with his attacking threat makes Kolasinac a really good FPL pick. This is demonstrated when you see that the Arsenal defender already has 74 points in FPL this season. This puts him in third place on the defenders FPL leaderboard and only six points behind top spot.
Moreover, Arsenal are playing Southampton this weekend and while the Saints are no means a bad side, they are not exactly the biggest goal-scoring threat this season managing just 15 in 15 games. Therefore, Arsenal should have a higher chance of keeping a clean sheet.
