Fantasy Premier League is once again taking place midweek this week. So, you transfers need to be done by 18:45 UK time on the 12th of December.
There are three games taking place on Tuesday the 12th of December. Burnley host Stoke City, Crystal Palace take on Watford and Chelsea travel to Huddersfield. As for Wednesday, there is a total of seven FPL games.
Newcastle face Everton, Southampton vs Leicester, Swansea vs Manchester City, Liverpool vs West Brom, Bournemouth travel to Manchester United, Spurs take on Brighton and West Ham vs Arsenal.
Here are three players you should sign this week.
David De Gea (5.8)
David De Gea is the most expensive keeper in FPL this season. He started the season costing 5.5. But his price has since risen to 5.8. However, despite him being the most expensive keeper in FPL, you should still sign him as your keeper.
The reason you should do so is because De Gea has already earned 85 FPL points this season. This is a very impressive tally in itself. However, it gets even more impressive when you see the next closest to him on the GK leaderboard only has 69 points. This shows that the Spaniard is a class above any other keeper in the league this season and you need him on your side.
Furthermore, United are at home to Bournemouth this game week. Given how good United are at the back this season, it is hard to see a side such as Bournemouth being able to come to Old Trafford and score past De Gea.
Harry Kane (12.8)
GW 17 see’s Spurs take on a struggling Brighton side. The newly-promoted side have not won in five league games. And in their last FPL game, they lost 2-0 to Huddersfield Town. This makes it clear that Brighton are beginning to see just how tough the Premier League is.
So, given Spurs are at home to Brighton this week, it is very likely they are going to beat them, probably by several goals. Therefore, you should have a Spurs player in your FPL team this week.
The obvious choice and also your best choice is Harry Kane. Kane is currently top of the striker leaderboard on FPL with 94 points. He is also the player with the most FPL points for Spurs this season. Plus, he has bagged an impressive 12 goals in the league already this season. This means he is almost certain to score this week when he faces a poor Brighton side.
Mohammed Salah (9.9)
Salah continues to make this FPL articles. But it’s hard not to put him in when he and Liverpool are doing so well in the attacking third.
Salah currently has the most FPL points of any player this season with an impressive 113. He is also the top scorer in the league this season with an impressive 13 goals and three assists. Liverpool themselves are also in excellent goalscoring form as in recent games they have put three past Stoke, five past Brighton and seven past Spartak Moscow.
Moreover, Liverpool are at home to West Brom this game week. West Brom find themselves 17th in the league, only above the relegation zone on goal difference. They also lost their last match 1-0 to a poor Swansea side. So, given that West Brom are in awful form and Liverpool and Salah are scoring for fun, it’s hard to see anything but Liverpool destroying West Brom this week.
