Everton made it sure their hard work didn’t get down the line as they cruised past Huddersfield Town in a stunning fashion. Goals from Gylfi Sigurdsson and Dominic Calvert-Lewin helped the Toffees to give new boss Sam Allardyce a rousing welcome at the Goodison Park.
Everton showed patches of improvement in the last match as they hammered a hapless West Ham United 4-0 and they carried off their positive momentum into the next game.
Three points from this match helped the Toffees to break into the top ten and they would surely take a lot from this match. Everton had the busiest summer as they spent in excess of £140m but things didn’t look very convinced in the earlier stages of the game.
But off late things have started to pick up pretty fast and Allardyce will have the responsibility to get their season back on track.

The man of the match. His twist and turns made hassled the Huddersfield defenders as he tried to sneak into the penalty box a number of times. Thoroughly deserved the goal.
