His departure might leave a big hole in the lineup and Hodgson is looking to bring in reinforcements to fill in the void. Mohamed Elyounoussi, with his bag of trickery and ability to score goals, can be a handy candidate to come to the side and immediately start reaping results for them.
The Norwegian has been one of the players for FC Basel since his arrival to the club in 2016 and has made 65 appearances for them so far. He has scored 16 goals for them while dishing out 24 assists, carving a niche for himself in the starting lineup. His skills and ability to control the ball, while running with it, has attracted a number of clubs from all over Europe including Premier League clubs like Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
The Eagles are looking resilient in their approach at the present moment, having lost none of their last eight matches in the Premier League and are looking to add quality players like Elyounoussi to their squad in a bid to keep their hopes for another season in the top flight alive.
