Manchester United will travel to West Bromwich Albion on Sunday looking to make it two wins on the spin following their bitter defeat against their ‘noisy neighbours’ and league leaders, Manchester City last week. The Red Devils can close the gap at the top to just 11 points if they can secure victory against the Baggies.
West Brom manager Alan Pardew will be confident about his team’s chances after putting in a brilliant defensive display at Anfield in midweek. He will now look to inspire his team to pick up all three points versus the Manchester club with a possible relegation dogfight looming on the horizon.
Jose Mourinho is expected to once again deploy his favoured 4-2-3-1 formation on Sunday which might see a possible return to the starting eleven for United forward Marcus Rashford. The recent history of the fixture has been of mixed fortunes for both teams. The Red Devils have won three, drawn three and lost three of their last nine encounters with the Baggies. The incredible Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea will once again take his place in goal for Manchester United and he might be protected by a back four of Phil Jones and Chris Smalling as the central defenders while Ashley Young will continue as left-back along with Antonio Valencia who will take his place in the right side of the backline.

The Belgian international Romelu Lukaku will lead the lines for Manchester United up top and will be expected to score after finding his goal-scoring touch versus Bournemouth in midweek.
