In the English Premier League, Spurs have been condemned to three defeats in four big games with the only win coming against Liverpool. Losses to Manchester United, Chelsea and most recently to their bitter rivals Arsenal have left everyone questioning the credibility of this young Tottenham side to actually deliver when it matters.
Today’s defeat would mean that Spurs are falling behind the chasing pack in the league with Manchester United and Chelsea pulling away and Manchester City already gone far off. Moreover, they also have Liverpool and Arsenal breathing down their neck and if Pochettino’s men want to keep playing in the Champions League next season, they must get their act together in the league.

Could do little about either goal as both of them were pure class. Had very little to do otherwise.

A terrible performance from the left back. He needs to get his form back or risk being benched by Mauricio Pochettino.

A tough night for the Belgian as Vardy ran rings around him every time the striker got the ball.
Davinson Sanchez: 6.5
Was faster than most players on the pitch, Sanchez finally met his match today in Jamie Vardy and the two tussled in a tough battle with Vardy coming out on top.
Serge Aurier: 6
A wayward performance although he was full of intent and running. He needs to channel his aggression more and focus on making smarter decisions with the ball.
Eric Dier: 6
A very quiet night for the Englishman as Leicester’s high pressing effectively nullified his ball playing role in the team.
Mousa Dembele: 5.5
Another player who failed to mark in front of Leicester’s busy midfield and ran into traffic every time he got the ball.
Moussa Sissoko: 5.5
Completely invisible throughout the match despite his position being changed from centre midfield to the wings.
Christian Eriksen: 5
His performance was not up to his usual standards and missed a sitter to cap things up.
Dele Alli: 5.5
Failed to do much, as every time he got the ball he was surrounded by blue shirts before he could even look up.
Harry Kane: 7.5
Had a tough match with Maguire on him all night. Dropped deep to create chances and scored a stunning goal with a sniff of an opportunity.

A slow day for the South Korean as he failed to get passes away fast enough.

Missed a sitter to level things up for his side late on.

Had an instant impact by coming on for his side after a year off with an assist. Would have liked to not lose the match, however.
