The Potters have some good players, who are capable of doing well and take any opposition down on their knees on their day. However, experience not being on their side, it might be difficult for the youngsters to cope with the ways of top-flight football and play a significant role to stabilise the side.
One such player is Harry Souttar, who is currently playing in the Stoke City Reserve side in the Premier League 2. The youngster is known for his immense physicality and ability to take on the opposition attackers, thus keeping the goalline safe. Souttar is a bright prospect in the Stoke City setup and might break into the senior side, given their predicament in the backline of late.
However, the Potters are looking forward to sending him on loan in January to get him more exposure to first-team football in the lower leagues. They are well aware of his ability to make it into the first team but want to make sure that he is ready to play regularly in one of the toughest and physically demanding leagues in Europe.
The 19-year-old has made 16 appearances so far for the Under 23 side, while four for the Under 18’s at Stoke City.
