It will be a pretty interesting battle when Bournemouth host Burnley at the Vitality Stadium. Both the teams have been on a pretty good run of late and the onus will be on the home side to put the pressure on the Clarets.
Burnley are a different side this term altogether. Since their delightful victory against Chelsea on the opening day, they have maintained a healthy upswing in their current form. Alongside Watford they are the surprising element of this season and Bournemouth would be bracing themselves for a tough fight.
Following a very shaky start, the Cherries have added some steel to their side and have only lost two out of the last six matches. It remains to be seen whether Eddie Howe gets a perfect birthday present or Burnley turns out to be the party spoilers.
Howe has overseen the side since the League one and has had a very good bonding with the Cherries. Relegation is not looking imminent at this moment but they cannot take things easy as it will only take one bad game to bring them down to earth.
Predicted Bournemouth 4-4-1-1 Starting Lineup Against Burnley
Defence
Asmir Begovic has had a pretty good outing in the last three matches as he managed three clean sheets in the last three matches and will be surely tasted against the Burnley side.
The Cherries are known for their attacking movements but defensively also they have managed to put a strong display. Steve Cook and Nathan Ake will be in charge of the Bournemouth defence.
Charlie Daniels and Simon Francis will be the respective fullbacks and will have the task to keep the flanks active with their fluid runs. The Bournemouth captain missed the last match as he received the marching order in their encounter against Huddersfield Town.
Midfield
Both Harry Arter and Andrew Surman have been regular figures this season and Howe is likely to use this pair again to get the job done in the middle of the pitch.
Attack
Jordan Ibe has worked on his antics a lot and now he is a lot more accomplished as a player. The former Liverpool winger loves to take on the defenders to test their resolve with his guile and Burnley need to keep him quiet.
Marc Pugh will be on the left side.
Josh King has the power and poise to fire goals. The 25-year-old will operate from a withdrawal position. Callum Wilson will have the task to lead the attack.
