Slowly and silently, Huddersfield Town have started to breathe life into their Premier League campaign. When the season started, they were tipped to be struggling in the relegation zone but David Wagner’s side has settled well in the Premier League until now.
They will be up against a struggling Bournemouth who have endured a tough time this season. In the last Premier League match before the international break, the Cherries managed to leave St James Park with valuable three points, thanks to a last-gasp header from Steve Cook and boss Eddie Howe will be looking for their consecutive second win.
Away form has been pretty shambolic for Huddersfield Town though. Barring the first win against Crystal Palace on the opening day, they have failed to muster a win and even haven’t scored a single goal while travelling.
The Terriers are placed 10th in the Premier League table, which has created positivity among the supporters and a win in this match would provide more air to their expectations.
Predicted 4-4-1-1 Huddersfield Town Starting Lineup Against Bournemouth
Defence
Jonas Lossl has been very reliable for the Terriers and he is likely to take his place in the goal.
Christopher Schindler will be unavailable as he was given a marching order in the last game against West Brom so Martin Cranie will be called to the starting lineup. He will be guided by Zanka in the backline.
Scott Malone will come face to face against one of his former clubs. There is no room for complacency and the left-back knows it pretty well.
Florent Hadergjonaj will be on the right side of the defence.
Midfield
Aaron Mooy’s availability is a matter of concern for the Terriers. The midfielder returned on Thursday following Australia’s World Cup Qualifier against Honduras.
Wagner might take a very late call on the player but if Mooy doesn’t feature in the match it could be a big loss for the Terriers. Danny Williams might be seen in his place.
Jonathan Hogg will have the task to lead the team in Mooy’s absence. His tenacity and influence on the team have given the Terriers a huge uplift this season.
Attack
Rajiv van La Parra looked threatening from the left flank and he will need to pull the trigger in a bid to cause havoc in the Cherries ranks.
Elias Kachunga will operate from the right side.
Tom Ince will start just behind the main striker to bridge the gap between the midfield and attack.
Laurent Depoitre has had his fair share of chances this season and he needs to start utilising it.
