Leicester City have found some form recently with back to back wins and a hard-fought draw in their last three matches after a dismal start to their campaign in the Premier League. They are currently standing at the twelfth spot on the league table and are looking to bag more positive results in the near future, helping them to survive.
However, the Foxes might look to add some new players to their side in the next transfer window and are eyeing a number of options. They are in search of a genuine goalscorer, who can get the better of the opposition defence and make regular inroads in the final third.
One such player, who is on their radar for some time now, is the English Under 21 international Jack Harrison. The 20-year-old has made a name for himself in Major League Soccer in the USA, where he plays for the New York City FC. He has been at the top of his form of late and has already scored 14 goals in 61 appearances so far to turn the attention of a number of clubs in the Premier League towards him.
Reportedly, apart from Leicester City, the young forward has also been targeted by the likes of Everton and Brighton and Hove Albion, who might look forward to table a bid for the player in the near future. However, this has not bogged down the interest from the Foxes by any means, as they are looking desperate to bring in a new striking partner for Jamie Vardy.
Harrison is known for his ability to speed heal down the flanks as well as the middle of the pitch, entering the final third to tear down the resistance and unleash shots on the opposition goal. The player is equally strong in the air, as he is on the ground and has the ability to score from long as well as from a close range.
The Foxes have a number of good players in their ranks but have not been able to put up a commendable effort so far this season. The inclusion of a good striker like Harrison might come as a blessing for the former Premier League champions and might help their side to make a strong statement by affirming their place in the top flight.
But is he the right man for them?
