Barcelona are looking to strengthen their midfield options by signing PSG starlet, Yacine Adli. The 17-year-old PSG youngster has impressed a lot of people and the race for his signature is heating up with some European heavyweights keeping tabs on his progress. His playing style has been compared with the likes of PSG star Adrien Rabiot. But he’s yet to make a senior appearance for the French side and his chances have been limited in Paris.
According to reports, the Catalan club has opened negotiations with his agent, Kia Joorabchian about a possible transfer to Spain and is lining up a move to sign Adli in the near future. Barcelona sees Adli as a long-term replacement for Andreas Iniesta and his versatility has caught the eye of many clubs.
The PSG starlet has been in impressive form lately and has set the youth leagues on fire with some eye-catching displays.
Adli has made 18 appearances for the French U-17 team, scoring 7 goals and notching up with 11 assists. He was recently in terrific form for his country in the U-17 World Cup in India, helping Les Bleus finish top of their group.
The senior officials from the Parisian club are trying to convince the youngster to commit his long-term future to the club, but Adli is adamant that regular game time is far more important to him than money.
If he does end up leaving PSG, the French club will be compensated £250,000 for his services. The prospect of this signing could turn out to be a bargain for the Catalans, considering the drama surrounding the departure of Brazilian superstar, Neymar to PSG.

Bayern Munich are also closely monitoring his progress and are hoping to recruit Adli with their ageing squad being one of the key reasons for this decision. However, reports indicate that the player prefers a move to Most of their stars, which include Arjen Robben, Frank Ribery and Arturo Vidal, are close to hanging up their boots which makes this move a realistic possibility.
