Leicester City have found some decent form, with back to back wins against Swansea City and Everton, which came as a relief after their poor start to their campaign in the Premier League this term. The Foxes are in the 11th place in the league table and will want to keep their run going.
However, they will have to face a stern test against Stoke City when the two teams lock horns in their 11th encounter of the season this weekend. The Potters are looking confident after winning their last match against Watford by 1-0 and are sure to put on a strong resistance against the former Premier League champions when they come across each other in the next match in the Premier League.
The Foxes lineup might look like this against the Potters.
Defence
Leicester City’s backline has performed well in the last two matches, conceding only a single goal and helping their team to end up on the winning side. They will need to play with all their might against the Potters to ensure another three points in their next match as well.
While the heart of the defence will be guarded by Harry Maguire and captain Wes Morgan, who dished out a solid performance in their last match against the Toffees, the right and left-hand sides of the backline will be marshalled by Danny Simpson and Christian Fuchs.
Kasper Schmeichel will once again stand on goal for the Foxes.
Midfield
Demarai Gray, who started the proceedings in the last match and scored a goal against Everton, alongside Wilfred Ndidi, Vicente Iborra and Marc Albrighton, who might replace an injured Ben Chilwell, are expected to play in the midfield after the experiment of using the Algerian playmaker Riyad Mahrez as a forward along with Jamie Vardy by the new manager Claude Puel was successful.
Attack
Mahrez, with Gray and Chilwell, made regular invasions on the Everton goal in their last match, handing the Foxes their third win of the season.
Jamie Vardy will once again lead the attack and will look to add to his tally of six goals this season so far. Playing Riyad Mahrez in the forward line along with the English ace turned out to be a very progressive ploy by the French mastermind Puel and he will hopefully continue in his new role in the next encounter against the Potters as well.
Here is how they might line up:
