Brighton return to Premier League action on the Monday night football against Stoke City at The Amex. The Seagulls are unbeaten in their last four games and will be hoping to make it five unbeaten in front of a big home crowd. Below is how The Albion should lineup:
In Goal:
In Goal will be Matthew Ryan. The Seagulls keeper has helped Australia qualify for the World Cup. He has been in impressive form this season for Brighton and saved them three or four points so far this season.
The back four:
The back four should be the same one that started the victory away at Swansea prior to the international break. That means it will be Captain Bruno at right back, Shane Duffy and Lewis Dunk at the heart of the defence and then at left back will be Gaetan Bong. This back four have helped Brighton to only concede eleven goals in eleven games. The back four will also be looking to make it back to back clean sheets on Monday after picking up one against Swansea.
The midfield four:
The midfield four should also be the same four that started the win at Swansea. This means it will be Anthony Knockaert on the right, Davy Propper and Dale Stephens in central midfield and then on the left wing will be Jose Izquierdo. The four has been very been brilliant so far this season with the wingers creating and scoring goals and the two central midfielders get stuck into the midfield battles.
The number ten role:
In the number ten role will be what was a bargain of a signing in Pascal Gross. The German has been terrific this season with him having got five assists already which is the third most this Premier League season and only just behind Manchester City pair David Silva and Kevin De Bruyne. Add in the two goals he has scored and the German has been so Influential for Brighton and is to thank for their impressive start to the season.
Upfront:
The solo frontman will also be the same as the one who started against Swansea and scored the winning goal. Of course, I am talking about Glenn Murray. Murray has been brilliant since coming back from injury and has four goals in his last three games. At the moment, everything he touches ends up in the back of the net or forces the keeper to make a great save to deny him adding to his tally.
Whoever starts for Brighton on Monday it will be a tough night for Stoke City as The Seagulls are very confident and are looking to make their impressive start even better if that is possible.
This is how they might line up:
