West Ham United are currently staring at the dreaded possibility of getting relegated from the top tier, having dished out a number of disappointing performances so far this season in the Premier League. They are now trying their level best to stay in the race for survival and are eyeing a win against one of the big name clubs in the competition, Liverpool.
The Hammers’ intent for a fightback showed in their performance in the last match when they scraped out a hard-fought draw against Crystal Palace. It was disappointing for them indeed to throw away a two-goal lead and end up drawing with the Eagles, who are currently placed at the bottom of the table, but it is hoped that the match will give them the much-needed boost to adapt to a more attacking brand of football in the near future.
The gaffer Slaven Bilic is well aware of the fact that his team will have to play out of their skins to win themselves the contest against Liverpool. Otherwise, it might become a problematic situation for the East London club in their struggle for survival in the top tier by the end of this season.
3-5-2 West Ham United Predicted Lineup Vs Liverpool
Defence
Joe Hart dished out a brilliant performance with the gloves in the last match against Crystal Palace but it was not quite his day at Selhurst Park as Wilfried Zaha snatched one point from the grasp of the Hammers with the last kick of the game, scoring with an angled shot. He will look to carry his performance from the last match into the next one as well and look to keep the Liverpool attackers at bay.
The likes of Jose Fonte, Cheikhou Kouyate and Angelo Ogbonna will look to make life as hard as possible for the opposition and will look to guard the backline with all their might.
Midfield
The West Ham midfield consisting of Pablo Zabaleta, Edimilson Fernandes, Manuel Lanzini, Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell will look to take advantage of the mistakes made by the opposition in the middle of the pitch and capitalise on them. However, it will not be an easy task for them and they will have to perform well.
Attack
Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez and Andre Ayew, the two goalscorers from the last match against the Eagles will once again have to take on the big role to expedite their side out of trouble and hand them a much-needed victory when they take on the Reds.
