West Bromwich Albion are presently standing in the tenth position in the Premier League, having won two and drawn three of their first seven matches so far. They will definitely look to strengthen their position in the league table in the future and will hope to get some positive results.
The Baggies are known for their brilliant defensive lineup, which has been the nemesis for a number of top-class sides in the Premier League over the last few seasons.
However, they lacked quality players in their midfield and in order to strengthen it in the new term, went on to make a shock move to get the Poland international Grzegorz Krychowiak in their squad in the summer transfer window on loan from the French giants Paris Saint Germain.
The move has undoubtedly paid off for the Baggies so far, as the PSG outcast showed his quality in the middle of the pitch from the word go and has notched a number of brilliant performances to show for his efforts. West Bromwich Albion are very happy with the way the Polish midfielder has come to their rescue after his arrival at the Hawthorns and are planning to make the move a permanent one in the future.
With their captain and enforcing midfielder Darren Fletcher joining Stoke City at the end of the last season, it has left a big hole in the midfield for the Baggies. They found it quite hard to contain the opposition since there was no significant figure marshalling the midfield and helping them to get the ball to the right person at the right time.
However, the problem has been solved to some extent after the arrival of Krychowiak at West Bromwich Albion. Forming a brilliant understanding with another new signing Gareth Barry in the middle of the pitch, the 27-year-old midfielder has filled in the gap that was left behind by the departure of Fletcher.
He is now looking to dish out better performances every time he takes to the pitch and has brought a lot of quality to the side of the Baggies.
Tony Pulis has been more than happy with his loan signing and is willing to make a move to make him a permanent member of his side in the future. He is confident that the player has much more to offer in the seasons to come to the club and it will not be a problem as PSG will not have a problem to let one of the outcasts to join another side away from Ligue 1.
