After the exit of Pedro Caixinha, Rangers faced Heart of Midlothian at the Murrayfield Stadium and came out with all three points. Kyle Lafferty handed the lead to the home side before a brace from Kenny Miller and a goal from Josh Windass took the game away from Craig Levein’s side.
Here are our Rangers Players’ ratings from their 3-1 win over Hearts.
Wes Foderingham 7/10
A superb day at the office for Foderingham who was solid between the sticks for the Glasgow based club. The custodian’s two saves in the first-half were exemplary and was unlucky to not get a clean sheet.
Declan John 7/10
John showed great intent whilst marauding forward and kept toiling relentless, thus maintaining a neat balance between his defensive and offensive endeavours.
Danny Wilson 6.5/10
The centre-back didn’t have a great start but did find his feet as the game progressed. During the later stages, he was hardly tested by the home side.
Ross McCrorie 6.5/10
McCrorie failed to cope with the physicality which the likes of Esmael Goncalves and Lafferty offered, but was good at reading the game and using the ball properly.
Daniel Candeias 7.5/10
The summer signing made some appealing driving runs to beef up the attacking mentality of his side and offered great skills and pace. It was relishing seeing him perform well in such a crucial game.
Ryan Jack 6.5/10
Although he couldn’t dictate the tempo of the game from the middle, Jack kept the ball ticking and didn’t do anything silly bring calumny upon himself.
Jason Holt 9/10
Holt was simply outstanding for the Light Blues as he toiled relentlessly throughout the pitch and looked purposeful and determined to prove his credentials. He contributed on both the sides of the pitch and injected aggression into Rangers’ attack.
Josh Windass 7/10
Although he failed to make a mark for himself in the first-half, he came strongly in the second and scored a well-taken goal to take the game away from Hearts.
Kenny Miller 8/10
The veteran showcased his industry and showed why he is still loved by the fans. Miller bagged a brace and all-round display was quite good.
Alfredo Morelos 8/10
Morelos assisted Miller for the first goal of the Teddy Bears and throughout the game, the youngster operated with pace, power and strength. He was unlucky not to score a goal today.

Jamie Barjonas (84’) 5/10
He replaced Miller late in the second half and did the basics right.
Eduardo Herrera (87’) NA
Morelos was replaced by Herrera, for the sake of time consumption.
Ryan Hardie (90’) NA
The game was done and dusted by the time Hardie replaced Windass.
