Liverpool have found themselves lagging behind in their bid to make it to the top of the table in the Premier League so far this season. However, despite starting well in the competition this term, the Reds have faltered and have found themselves on the backfoot after facing disappointment in their last couple of matches.
The Merseyside club are looking forward to turning back the tide in their favour and are on the hunt to find a top class striker who can lead them to the top of the Premier League table. They have a number of players in their sight, with the name of the Argentine striker Luciano Vietto right on the top of their list.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is looking to add more firepower to his arsenal despite the presence of some of the best attackers in Europe in the form of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah, Phillipe Coutinho and Daniel Sturridge.
There is the possibility of a major remodelling of the side in the forthcoming days as one of the above-mentioned players might be shown the door.
As per reports, the English striker Daniel Sturridge might be on his way out of Anfield, as young Argentine Luciano Vietto might be brought to fill in for him in the winter transfer market.
It might not be a problem for the player to make the move as his current club Atletico Madrid might not make much fuss while letting go of their striker in the next term, as they already have enough firepower in their side to take on the top sides in Europe.
Known for his predatory instincts in front of the goal, the Argentine striker is one of the most preferred strikers in European football for a number of big-name clubs. He can score goals from an array of ranges and can help his teammates with well-timed passes into the attacking third to provide goal scoring opportunities for them. He can also be very dangerous in the air and can score with either his feet or his head making him effective in various systems.
The Reds might well be looking out of sorts at the present moment in the Premier League as well as the Champions League but they are hopeful of a revival in the future. It will undoubtedly be one of the most significant captures for them this season so far and might help them to turn their fortune around after the January transfer window.
