Chelsea are currently looking a bit demoralised after their loss to arch-rivals Manchester City last weekend in a hard-fought match played at Stamford Bridge. The only goal came from the former Chelsea winger Kevin De Bruyne, who is having a good season with the Citizens this term so far.
The Blues are now looking forward to bouncing back and are also eyeing some changes to be brought into the side. Having spent liberally in the summer transfer market, the reigning Premier League are not afraid to do the same in the next transfer window as well and have already fixed their aim on a number of players whom they want to add to their squad.
Out of the players who are on the target list of the Chelsea coach Antonio Conte, the name of the Spanish youngster Iker San Vicente is on the top. The 16-year-old is currently plying his trade for the Spanish outfit Osasuna and might be interested to make a move to another club in January.
Chelsea already have a plethora of young players at their disposal and are willing to add some more of the same to their side in the near future. It is, though, not going to be easy for the Blues to get the young defender in their team in the next transfer window as his current side might not let go of their prized possession so easily.
The Blues, however, might get a major boost to sign the brilliant youngster by the fact that the player has denied penning down a new contract with his current club and might be on his way to head out of Osasuna at the end of the next term. He will become a free agent by then, which will make the task easier for the Blues to rope in their desired candidate.
The 16-year-old is considered to have great potential for his future and has good skills to go with a very calm and composed attitude on the pitch. He is known for his daunting presence at the heart of the defence and is a real menace for the opposition players while vying for the ball. He is able to keep hold of the ball for a significant amount of time and has the ability to make tackles to dispossess the opponent off the ball.
The Blues are very much interested in the Spanish youngster and are quite sure that he might be a very good addition to the side, with the potential to become a very dependable player in the future.
