It was supposed to be an easy affair for Tottenham Hotspur given the form West Ham United is in currently but football is a game of uncertainties. The Hammers snatched a hard-fought victory under the nose of the North Londoners as they came from behind to secure a famous win at the Wembley Stadium.
This was the second time in this season these two teams came face to face as Spurs went on to win the game by the same scoreline in the Premier League earlier this season. In this match, Mousa Sissoko and Dele Alli scored two important goals as Spurs went into the break with utmost confidence.
But Slaven Bilic had some other plans. The Croatian manager tweaked his strategy a bit and took control of the game. Andre Ayew scored a brace and Angelo Ogbonn found himself on the scoresheet as the Hammers stopped the Spurs juggernaut.
