Manchester United have started their new season in the Premier League in gallant fashion, having won all their matches so far in the competition. They have scored 10 goals, showing superb aggression as they have already cemented a place at the top of the league table, with a number of their players getting on the score sheet.
Among the top scorers, Romelu Lukaku is standing on the top of the pile with three goals so far. Another forward Anthony Martial has notched up two goals to show for his brilliant effort on the field.
The Frenchman came off the bench to score two goals in the first two matches, which led the man in charge at Old Trafford, Jose Mourinho to consider him as a starter in their last match. Though he failed to put one in the back of the net, his darting runs into the opposition defence and his swift footwork caused a lot of trouble for the opposition players.
Now that the international break is over and the Premier League is again about to begin, the Red Devils are looking forward to continuing on their merry way in the campaign and it goes without saying that their forwards have to play a very important role in this. Anthony Martial will be expected to play a very important role for the former Premier League champions with his brilliant array of skills that he has been displaying since the start of the season.
The player has been a part of Manchester United since 2015 when he came into the side from the French Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. He, however, failed to find a place in the starting lineup on a regular basis but is trying to claw his way back into the team with his recent performances.
The 21-year-old has made 94 appearances so far for the Red Devils, having scored 27 times for them. He has also turned provider of assists for his teammates on 18 occasions so far and is set to become a very important part of the squad for his club as well as the country.
Although he went down the pecking order in the last season, after the Portuguese mastermind took over the charge at Old Trafford and handed him fewer starts for his liking, the player made his way back with his strong performances and has proved himself to be one of the future stars to play for Manchester United.
He has already notched up two goals in this season and will be expected to continue his run in form and is expected to be an important part of the plans for Jose Mourinho this season.
