Alvaro Morata (9) – What an afternoon, made a great run to get in behind and score just over a minute into the game. He then made a great run after picking up a loose pass from Glenn Johnson and finished superbly to make it 2-0. With nine minutes left he completed his trick after making being in the right place at the right time. On another day with other chances, he could have had five goals.
Substitutes:
Gary Cahill (5)- Did well to try and mark Crouch. Apart from that had little to do after coming on for Alonso.
Cesc Fabregas (5)- Made some nice passes but did not do an awful lot after replacing the goalscorer Pedro.
Eden Hazard (6)- Had a great one-two with Willian and then he saw his cross-shot cleared virtually off the line by Johnson otherwise it would have been a tap-in for Morata.
