Arsenal are looking to get some substantial results in their bags in the upcoming matches in the Premier League after their mixed start to their season that includes two wins, two losses, and one draw, coming against their arch-rivals Chelsea in their five matches so far. The Gunners are aiming to turn the tide in their favour in the forthcoming match and hope for a win in their next match when they take on West Bromwich Albion.
The man in charge at the Emirates Stadium, Arsene Wenger, has been looking forward to making his team strong with the addition of some top class players to the roster for the new season and has successfully signed the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac in the summer transfer window.
However, he has been wary of his side’s performance that has lacked consistency and is willing to add a player to the midfield to give it the much-needed stability.
Reportedly, the wily Frenchman has his eyes on the Barcelona midfielder Rafinha, who has been a part of the side since 2013 and has featured for the Barcelona B as well before that for a considerable amount of time. However, the Brazilian has been left out of the side most of the times in his these years at the Nou Camp and might be looking for a move to a new club that will help him get ample starts under his belt in the forthcoming days.
The 24-year-old has been pushed down the pecking order with an array of superstars playing for the Blaugrana over the last couple of seasons and has been deployed in bits and pieces role in the recent times.
This has irked a number of clubs around Europe including Arsenal who are looking for a quality player in their midfield and might be more than happy to sign the Brazilian from Barcelona and use him to get rid of the woes they are facing since the last term.
His ability to keep the ball to himself for a significant amount of time and play it into the right area and the right person at the right time makes Rafinha a real threat in the midfield for the opposition.
His physical presence helps him get the better of the opponents and he can also contribute with crucial goals for his side. Surely he can be a good addition to the side for the Gunners if they are able to get a hand on the player in the January transfer window.
