Arsenal did not have a good start to their Premier League campaign this term and have lost two of their first five matches while winning two and drawing one of the rest. They are now looking to come back strongly in the forthcoming matches of the league and are trying their best to bring in some top class players into the side and make it strong enough to match the might of the other big-name clubs in the country.

Speculations are rife that Wenger might go for his compatriot Karim Benzema, who is presently plying his trade for the Spanish La Liga champions Real Madrid. He is one of the best strikers in Europe and has a considerable amount of experience under his belt for the country as well as the club over the last few years and can be a great coup for the Gunners if they can bring him into their side in the winter transfer window.
Benzema has been an integral part of the Real Madrid lineup since his arrival at Santiago Bernabeu in 2009 from French Ligue 1 and has played a major role in helping the Galacticos win accolades throughout his prolonged tenure of eight years. However, the 29-year-old might be on the verge of breaking his long-term bond with the club as Los Blancos might look to sell him in the forthcoming transfer window.
This has irked a number of clubs from all over Europe, with Arsenal looking the closest to bring in the player. However, they will have to be prepared to break the bank once again, as the present European champions have priced the French ace at £44 million and are willing to listen to offers that are either equal to or in excess of the prescribed price.
