Huddersfield Town have started their first Premier League season in 45 years in ominous form, having made a brilliant start with two wins and one draw from their first three matches of the campaign. The Terriers made their way into the top flight, having won the Championship playoffs and are looking desperate to prove their worth in the 2017/18 season in English top flight football.
They have spent well in the summer and have brought in a plethora of players into their squad to revamp it, in order to take on the biggies of Premier League. The players have also displayed some brilliant skills to bag crucial wins against teams like Crystal Palace and Newcastle United.
The Terriers have scored four goals so far in their first three matches and have conceded none, which is a very impressive display for a newly promoted side in the top flight. They are now placed at the third position in the league table behind Manchester United and Liverpool and are looking forward to continuing their good run in the forthcoming matches as well.
Three players who will play a very important role in the forthcoming matches for the Terriers are-
Aaron Mooy-
The Australian midfielder was brought into the side on loan in the last season from Manchester City, which was a brilliant move by the German gaffer David Wagner, as the player went on to prove himself as one of the most important players for his side and helped them to get into the top flight for the first time after 1972. The Terriers’ coach made him his primary target for this season and brought him in on a permanent deal. He has tremendous confidence in him, which the player has repaid with some brilliant displays so far and has already notched up a goal to show for his efforts.
Steve Mounie-
The Beninese forward scored against Crystal Palace in his very first match of the Premier League campaign and has been poised to make a solid impression with the array of skills which he has at his disposal. The 22-year-old has displayed great composure while spearheading the attack for the Terriers and might turn out to be their most important player for the season.
Jonas Lossl-
The Huddersfield goalkeeper is already making ripples with his brilliant ball handling skills and has kept three consecutive clean sheets in the Premier League so far. Rated as one of the most highly-regarded young goalkeepers, the Danish international is expected to play a very important role for his side in the forthcoming days of the season.
