West Ham United have faced defeats in all their matches so far in Premier League, making it a disastrous start to the campaign. The Hammers have conceded goals in every match so far and have failed to contain their rivals, the total number being 10 so far.
The East London club brought in a number of players this summer, including the English goalkeeper Joe Hart, who came into the side on loan from Premier League rivals Manchester City. Since his arrival, the player has failed to perform well and has contributed in the sufferings of the club so far with his dismal ball handling.
The player was also sent on loan to the Italian club Torino in the last term as Manchester City’s new manager Pep Guardiola did not find him fit for his plans and brought in Claudio Bravo from Barcelona. However, the Chilean shot stopper did not perform as expected throughout the last term and the Citizens had to bring in another goalkeeper this summer in the form of Ederson from Benfica, pushing Hart further down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium. His present loan stint for West Ham United has spelt disaster so far and there is a possibility that the English shot stopper might be shown the door if his performance does not improve in the forthcoming matches.
In case Hart leaves the East London club, the most viable options to replace him can be-
Danny Ward-
The young Liverpool goalkeeper, who showed his brilliant form in the last term when he featured in the goal for Huddersfield Town and helped them to win the Championship playoffs and clinch promotion to the top flight. However, now that the player is sitting on the bench, the Hammers can lure him to the London Stadium to feature in place of Joe Hart for the rest of the season.
Sergio Romero-
The Argentine goalkeeper has not featured for Manchester United since the final of the Europa League and is compelled to live under the shadow of Spanish goalkeeper David De Gea. He might be a good option for the Hammers to replace Joe Hart in their goal.
Claudio Bravo-
The Hammers can also think of another Manchester City goalkeeper as an option as the player is destined to sit on the bench given the presence of new signing Ederson in their goal. Bravo is an experienced campaigner and can be a suitable replacement to fit the bill for the East Londoners in case Hart is shown the door.
