West Ham United are finding themselves in complete dire straits, having lost all their matches so far this season. They are looking for new measures and change in strategies so as to get back to winning ways, as the Premier League resumes this weekend after the international break.
The Hammers brought in a number of top class players this summer, looking to revamp their side which performed very badly in the last season as well. However, that has not affected their bad run, as the East London club has continued to lose matches and are currently stranded at the bottom of the table.
Their coach Slaven Bilic has been given an ultimatum by the club authority, who are demanding positive results from him. The Croatian has been standing the line of fire since the last term, after the dismal performance of his team in the Premier League.
However, the club kept their faith in him and handed him a war chest of considerable value to bring in players to reshape his side and get some positive results. But nothing has seemingly worked for the Hammers, as Bilic finds his job and his career with the Premier League in a fairly problematic situation.
Here are two things he might turn to in order to get stabilize the situation and get some good results under his belt:
Bring new players into the side-
Although he has brought in new players in the form of Joe Hart, Pablo Zabaleta, Javier Hernandez and Marko Arnautovic to strengthen his squad this summer, none of them have shown the spirit to bring back their team to winning ways.
This being detrimental to the team, the Croatian must look for new recruits in the forthcoming transfer season that will commence in January in order to get players who can solve the problems of his team and help them start getting positive results late in the season.
Rethink his way of approaching a game-
The Croatian is known as one of the most highly regarded strategists and has his own methods to conquer the madness. He showed his class in his very first season with the Hammers and got them to finish on the 7th position on the league table.
His strategies, however, have ceased to show their effects in the following season and left his team stranded on the 11th position in the Premier League. So it might be time for him to rethink his ways so that he can answer his critics by changing the way things are for his side.
