Watford have faced a number of difficulties in the last term and have made their way out it, staying back in the Premier League for one more season. They were right on the brink of elimination from the top flight and somehow managed to end the season on the 17th position in the league table.
The Hornets are well aware of the fact that the next season is going to be tougher for them, as all the competitor teams are trying their level best to revamp their teams according to their budget to challenge their opponent and make the campaign as successful in terms of results. Their new manager Marco Silva is looking forward to bring in reinforcements for the next term as well to make his team stronger for the next term and power them to end up in a much better position than the last season.
In their pursuit of glory, Watford is eyeing a number of players to be brought into the side not only from the Premier League and the Championship but also from outside England and Europe as well. One such player, who is set to be recruited by the Hornets in the summer transfer window, is the Brazilian starlet Richarlison, who is currently playing for Fluminense in the Brazilian league.
A vicious shot maker and a swift dribbler, the 20-year-old has reportedly arrived at Vicarage Road for his medical which will be taking place on Tuesday. The terms have already been agreed between the Hornets and Richarlison, which will see the Brazilian striker playing for the Premier League outfit on a five-year long deal starting next season.
With the departure of their mercurial striker Odion Ighalo right on the last day of the winter transfer window in the last season, who chose the Chinese Super League over Watford, the Hornets have been facing a world of problems in their front line and have lost quite a few close matches due to the unavailability of a top class marksman. Hopefully, now with the arrival of the Brazilian youngster, the number of goals will increase significantly in the next season for Watford.
Richarlison has played a total of 40 matches for Fluminense so far and has scored 10 goals in them since joining in 2016. He will have to pull out newer tricks from his bag to make it count for his new club and get as many goals for them as possible in what is known to be one of the most competitive leagues in the world.
