The Spurs made a comeback by virtue of a late own goal from Michy Batshuayi, but could not make the equaliser count, as the first London Derby of the season went in the favour of the West Londoners.
This has irked the Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino to find a permanent solution for his defensive woes, with his first-choice full-back Danny Rose not being able to play for quite some time given his injury scare. The Argentine mastermind is eyeing a number of options to fill up the position and has made Celtic’s Kieran Tierney his main target, with a few more days left to the closure of the transfer window.
