It seems like Tottenham Hotspur are busy with their pursuit of new players with a few more days left before the end of the transfer window, as they brought in a top-class defender in the form of Davinson Sanchez from the Dutch Eredivisie runner up side Ajax, for a club record transfer fee.
The North London club are looking to add more young blood to their line-up for the new season and are eying a number of new players from all over Europe to be brought into the side this summer. One such player, who has taken European football by storm in the recent years is the Turkish international Oguz Kagan Guctekin, currently playing for Fenerbahce in the Super Lig.
A number of big-name clubs are on his trail to bring him into their side for the new season, including the likes of Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham. The Citizens have also gone one step further to put a bid to bag the player. However, it was eventually rejected by the Turkish outfit, who want the talented player to stay with them for a significant amount of time in the forthcoming years.
But this has not been able to make the clubs cool their interest in the player for the new season, as they are trying to make the most of the remaining days of the transfer window before the deadline day.
Both the North London clubs are keeping their eyes fixed on the Guctekin and are ready to make a move for him, to improve their options this season.
The 18-year-old whiz kid has been a sensation on the field for the Turkish outfit and has been handed a place in the senior side for the new season. The team management is more than pleased with his development in the last few seasons and is willing to give him a chance to play in the starting XI as well. His cool attitude and prowess on the pitch have been of the highest quality, which has helped him to get the better of his opponents.
The Turkish youngster, who prefers to play as a defensive midfielder, is known for his solid influence on the balance of the team, thus stabilising its midfield to the core. He is also known for his physical presence in the middle of the pitch, which will help him in England. Tottenham will look to sharpen his skills in the forthcoming days, in case he joins them in the summer.
