Scottish Premiership outfit Rangers have been thoroughly active this summer in making the necessary ramifications to their squad. Under the tutelage of Pedro Caixinha, the Gers are really in hot pursuit of shaping themselves in order to ensure that their arsenal allows them to go toe-to-toe with the likes of Celtic and Aberdeen in the ongoing campaign.
Caixinha has been shrewd with his recruitments and has been attempting to tighten his screws of every frontier.
Whilst jotting his endeavours in the transfer window, the former Al-Gharafa boss has been clearing the players who are, according to him, unwanted at the club.
The Glasgow based outfit have struck the likes of Rob Kiernan, Barrie McKay, Joe Garner and Matt Crooks off their books already and have of late allowed striker Martyn Waghorn join Championship outfit Ipswich Town for an undisclosed fee. But the question that lingers on is whether it was a right move by Caixinha to let Waghorn leave Ibrox Stadium.
While the fee is undisclosed, the report is generally being quoted somewhere between £200,000 to £1m. Our sources tell us that the fee is £400,000.
Our sources are telling us that Ipswich Town paid a grand total of £400,000 for Martyn Waghorn. Bonkers if true. #RangersFC #ITFC

Waghorn emerged through the youth ranks of Sunderland and then went on to represent the senior side of the Black Cats, although it was for a very brief span of time.
Eventually, he made moves to English sides, namely, Leicester City and Wigan Athletic. In the summer of 2015, the Light Blues made him put pen to paper and he went on to smash 44 goals in all competitions for them and helped them in getting the uplift to the Scottish Premiership.
However, he fell out of favour at the Glasgow based club after Caixinha took the charges of the club from Mark Warburton and the intentions of the squad overhaul process by the Portuguese always meant that the 27-year-old was to see the exit route.
The Teddy Bears have already signed a galvanizing forward in the shape of Alfredo Morelos and with the availability of Kenny Miller and Joe Dodoo, their attacking firepower seems to have the requisite ammunition, without Waghorn.
The Tractor Boys have bagged a forward with plenty of experience of English football (mind you, the Englishman accumulated game time under his belt whilst loan spells with Charlton Athletic, Millwall and Hull City as well) and will utilize him with Joe Garner, who moved to Portman Road from Rangers in June.
