Leicester City have been linked with a number of players in the last couple of days but are yet to finalise a deal for anyone. The Foxes are currently in a desperate situation as they endured a very tough beginning to the season so far.
According to reports, Leicester are monitoring Wolves winger Jordan Graham. The ongoing uncertainty over Demarai Gray’s future has fuelled the speculation and the Foxes are now leading the race for this pacey winger.
Graham has been among one of the most exciting emerging young English attackers but his story has been quite different from the others. The 22-year old broke into the scene back in 2014 when he arrived at the Molineux from Aston Villa.
Things were going very smoothly as the winger made a pretty vibrant start at the Midlands. But his Wolves career came to a halt after just a month as he suffered a career threatening knee injury.
He almost had missed more than a season since then and has fallen in the pecking order. In this season he has featured in just two matches as Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo doesn’t seem to be impressed with the winger’s quality.
In the current condition, the winger has a very little chance to feature as he wasn’t even on the bench in the last two league games. The Foxes have lost Tom Lawrence to Derby County and Graham could take his place on the side.
The winger has electrifying pace and would be able to match up with the direct counter attacking style of Leicester. Craig Shakespeare has been seeking a wide man for his side as Demarai Gray is believed to be considering his future.
A number of Championship clubs are also in the fray to land Graham but Wolves wouldn’t probably want to take a risk by shipping the player to the same league. Wolves made a pretty impressive start as they have lost only a single match this season are ready to push for a promotion this season.
Gaffer Santo is unlikely to block a move given his current squad depth and Leicester should jump in to crack a deal for the player. The Foxes already have a number of coveted wingers on the side and the arrival of the youngster would definitely add some necessary armours to the side.
