Leeds United are looking forward to making use of the last few days that are remaining before the closure of the transfer window this summer. The Whites are eyeing a major change in their attacking lineup and have already brought in a number of new players into their side to bolster the attack and are interested in bringing in a few more to add to their strike force.
One such player, Pawel Cibicki, might be the latest name to be added to the side at the Elland Road this summer. The 23-year-old striker is currently playing for his hometown club Malmo FC and has been termed as one of the future stars in Swedish football. It goes without saying that the Whites will be more than happy to get the youngster in their ranks for the rest of the season.
The young marksman impressed with his brilliant displays as a forward for the Swedish outfit throughout the last season, leading Malmo to the Swedish Allsvenskan Title. Ever since, he has been one of the most sought after player for a number of clubs in his home country as well as in other European leagues this summer.
He has a number of clubs who are ready to bag him for the new season, but in the current situation, it seems Leeds United have all but managed to land him at Elland Road.
Equipped with an ability to score with long range strikes, the 23-year-old can be lethal from close range as well. He is also known for the ability to get the ball past the keeper from brilliantly taken free kicks and get his team in an advantageous position. He is also good in the air and can score headed goal consistently, which is a must for a striker in England.
A young player with a bright future, Pawel Cibicki looks to be the perfect inclusion to the side for the Whites to embark on the pursuit of glory this season.
Leeds United will be trying their level best to get into the top six of the Championshipship, which they missed out on in the last term, having goofed up in the last few matches, to concede the advantage to fellow Championship rivals and the other “Whites” Fulham. This also led to their former manager Gary Monk leaving the club at the end of the last season.
They seem to be working their way back and Cibicki could go a long way in helping them to promotion.
