Huddersfield Town have started their first season in the Premier League after 45 years in gallant fashion, having won their first two matches of the campaign against Crystal Palace and Newcastle United respectively. They haven’t conceded a single goal so far as well and scored four goals in their two opening fixtures, hoping that they will be able to continue their form in the forthcoming matches as well.
The Terriers have emphasised on bringing in a number of new players to the team this summer and are continuing to do that with a few more days left to the closure of the transfer window. Their latest recruit is the Moroccan forward Abdelhamid Sabiri, who has been brought into the side from German Bundesliga outfit FC Nuremberg on a three-year long deal.
The 20-year-old has been known for his skilful footwork and his pace while running into the heart of the defence for his side. His predatory instincts have helped him notch up goals with long range strikes as well as close range finishes. Sabiri showed his capability in the last term, having scored five goals in the nine appearances he made for his former club in the German Bundesliga and is expected to continue his good form in English top flight football as well.
Huddersfield has already got a number of talented players in their ranks, including players like Aaron Mooy and Steve Mounie, both of whom have scored for their team in the last two matches and have contributed largely to the wins. Now with the inclusion of the 20-year old Moroccan forward, the Terriers are supposed to have an even stronger lineup in their forthcoming matches.
The player has made it to the senior side after proving his worth with the youth side for his former club Nuremberg. He made 21 appearances for the youth side and scored 12 goals for them as well, compelling the selectors to get the Moroccan forward to become a part of the senior side in the last season.
Sabiri can play as the main striker as well as in a supporting role for his team, giving the attack some diversity. His style of play allows him to take on the defenders and bamboozle them with his swift footwork while getting into the heart of the defence and taking shots on goal. His electrifying pace can be a very good addition to the Huddersfield side and help him become an inevitable part of the squad in the forthcoming days.
